Tom Green Elementary School

It absolutely blows my mind how this school is low rated on some sites. My children who were in K and 2nd grade had to transfer to Tom Green from a great elementary school they were attending in Louisiana. I was so nervous for them that starting a new school so late in the year (February) they wouldn't adapt well. The bar had already been set high by their Louisiana school which was an A+ rated school. So we were stunned when they absolutely fell in love with Tom Green. I've never seen them so excited to go to school in the morning and so bored on the weekend begging to go to school. They just loved it. We are now going back home to Louisiana and, when I asked the kids what they will miss about Austin, the only thing they ever say is "Tom Green."

School is nice always clean. Cafeteria food is okay from experience. Teachers are very nice and are always going the extra mile for their students I would definitely recommend this school if Ur in the neighborhood

I've been on staff here for 8 years. Teachers are generous, helpful, administration is supportive, and are servant leaders. Kids are great too.

The staff and administration are always smiling. Everyone is always happy to be there and eager to assist.
My child loves her teacher and has never missed a day of school, just because.
