Dr. Jennings took the time to give me a complete physical exam for my bad back and hip, which is rare these days. I received a Cortizone injection into my right hip which relieved my pain completely.
My wife is a physician, and she accompanied me to one of my visits with him. She agreed with me that he is thorough and competent. Great guy and excellent orthopedist.
There isn't a better doctor in San Marcos. It's so rare to find a doctor who truly listens, but that's what Dr Jennings does. He cares about your whole body, too. You may have to wait a while, but it's because he gives every patient the time they need, & he'll do the same for you. We were referred by a friend for orthopedic surgery for my husband, but he's also a great pain management doctor who cares that you're hurting & will find a way to relieve your pain. He's not there for the money, he wants to do whatever he can to relieve your pain. He reminds me of doctors i had "back in the day" when doctors took care of you because they had known you forever & knew about all you medical problems. By the way, the office staff is great too!
I have found Dr.Jennings to be very knowledgeable. He always has time to listen and give advice.
I have seen another orthopaedic surgeon who was unable to ease my discomfort. Luckily Dr. Jennings was recommended to me and consequently I am able to enjoy fully such things as gardening again. My quality of life has improved immeasurably.
With Dr.Jennings one feels that he truly cares about ones well being.
He really is an expert in his field. I would definitely recommend him to prospective patients.
Dr. Jennings is one of my favorite doctors to see, and I see MANY! Be prepared to wait a while to see him both in the room and in the lobby BUT it is because he takes the time to get to know to patients. I would personally rather wait to see a caring doctor vs. one who does not.
When I suddenly became chronically ill in 2013 at the age of barely 25, unable to walk without a walker & bed bound most days, many doctors dismissed me assuming I was drug-seeking, faking it or just diagnosed me with "general pains." But from the start Dr. Jennings took the time to get to know me, & was determined to find out WHY I was experiencing so much pain not just try to mask it with pills. He was very professional & also very kind & he has a genuine desire to help the hurting. His office helped me to fight my insurance for me to get approved for surgery & now after surgery (performed by him as well) I am almost back to normal. I can walk and I don't have to be stuck in bed at all anymore. WONDERFUL, caring doctor which is RARE to find these days.
Please "like" this comment to help spread the word about good doctors. It is SO hard for people, like myself, who are disabled, in severe pain, or having some other orthopedic issue. The medical field is so hard to navigate these days and any "like" or share is appreciated!!
