Thanks to everyone at San Marcos auto we took our gmc to have the ac compressor replaced but when they got done they saw something wasn’t right and they let me know and made it right. Awesome business honest and very friendly. Especially tom up front. Thanks so much

This is that one shop you wished you found sooner for mechanical needs. They’re very informative and detailed. Everything is explained to you in a manner that someone who’s not mechanically inclined can understand. They kept me informed of my vehicles status via text and phone call. No service was done without my prior consent and everything was done in writing. I absolutely loved my experience. Hands down the best shop I’ve been to in both New Mexico and Texas.

I had an a/c problem and due to a previous good experience with them, I went again in hopes of another good one. I was not disappointed. I took it in in the morning and was given a ride home. By late afternoon it was ready. Another ride provided and I was on my way. Cost was as expected 940.00 for a new compressor and whatever else comes with it. So far so good!

The folks at San Marcos Auto Center are the best around as they are both honest and competent. I've been using SM Auto Center for the past 3 years (since pandemic) to change my oil and do regular maintenance. They fully stand behind all their work and warranty it. I've only had one issue with them about bad wheel bearings and they warrantied and replaced them without any cost to me. Highly recommended for all your vehicle maintenance needs.

I love them. Mario and Rick have never done me or my family wrong in buying one of their vehicles. We have already bought 3 vehicles from them in the past 2 years.
