The Hays County Sheriff’s Office responded to a car accident today involving our nanny. The responding officer not only drove her to our house in his patrol vehicle, but also made a point of speaking with us to ensure we had all of the information we needed about the collision and the next steps in the process. The officer’s conduct was exemplary and the embodiment of law enforcement’s noble mission to ‘serve and protect’. Way to go Hays County Sheriff’s Office!
