Inn at Sunset Mill Ranch

I can't say enough great things about our hosts and our stay at Sunset Mill Ranch. First of all, the area is beautiful and our cabin charming, cozy and comfortable. Then there was the delicious breakfast Diana served us out on the deck overlooking the peaceful hill country. Most appreciated was how accommodating they were from packing our breakfast to go for the 4th of July (not to be missed!) parade, to suggesting the best places for dinner. And don't get me started on her home made baked goods! Will definitely be back.

My mom and I came for a girls weekend and had the best stay here. Location is perfect, the room was immaculate and she provides everything you could possibly need. We woke up to seeing cows and deer whilst drinking coffee looking onto their beautiful ranch. Dianna is a wonderful host and homemaker. Such a sweet, kind-hearted woman who makes your stay feel like home. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend to all of our friends & family!

My husband and I took a quick weekend getaway to the Inn at Sunset Mill Ranch and it was everything we needed and more. Diana was so hospitable and served up the most delicious breakfast. She was quick to give recommendations for nearby dining and even was so thoughtful to leave us a charcuterie board after our day in town. It was the perfect respite while sitting on the large porch and enjoying the scenery. You can tell how much thought and pride they put into the property and will definitely recommend friends and family to visit if in the area.

This was our first B&B experience and the owner Diana has certainly set a very high bar for us to compare any future B&B experiences. The property was breathtaking- a well manicured yet rustic retreat. We stayed in the Sunset Room in the Carriage House which was beautifully appointed with all new, modern amenities and posh furnishings making it a very comfortable and peaceful retreat.
We were welcomed with homemade treats which were refreshed and available the entire stay. Breakfast was extensive and delicious each day. We enjoyed the other visitors and engaged in a lively conversation about pie over our first breakfast together- only to be surprised that afternoon when Diana presented a homemade pie for our afternoon enjoyment! That was epitome of the attention to detail and thoughtfulness which was exemplified throughout our stay at Sunset Mill.

Our four day stay at the Inn at Sunset Mill Ranch was wonderful! Diana is an amazing and gracious innkeeper. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated.
The breakfasts were always delicious and plentiful, so much so that we didn’t need to eat lunch.
The setting with great views of the hills is very relaxing and the location is perfect for touring state parks, LBJ ranch, Austin, downtown Wimberly and many other attractions as well as great restaurants in the area.
Thanks again for a great vacation in Hill Country! We look forward to returning soon.
