Lakeside Cafe

Good service, I ordered the chicken fried steak, and it was very good. The sides I chose were mashed potatoes, black eyed peas. The black eyed weren't so good, in my opinion.

This place was actually referred to me by another restaurant. I was looking for so.e place that had chicken fried steak. So we found this place and tried it out. This place was nice and clean. The service was outstanding. The food was good except for one thing. The green beans tasted like they came right out of the can and dumped a gallon of pepper in them. Other than that, it was a good experience, and I will go back.

The atmosphere was relaxing and homey. Our server was super cool. I was surprised that they offer smoking and non-smoking but I didn't smell smoke at all. I had a Western omelette and home fries and they were SO good!

Been here several times and have always had a pleasant meal and visit with the wait staff. Special orders don't upset them. As long as it's a substitute for a menu item. The atmosphere of the building and interior are fine. Fellow dinners....or guests. there have been a few grumpy guests that have made the visit not as pleasant. At our table, we didn't let them take away our enjoyment of a pleasant meal.
