I love this place! I've been approx. 4-5 times. I have only gone there on Saturday for drinks & appetizers. Drinks were great & food delicious! The patio & restaurant are decorated like no other. Both are very eclectic, beautiful, comfy & inviting! The staff have always been very welcoming & attentive!

why is this place empty on a friday night?!? the answer... marketing. you'd pass this place if you didn't have gps in your face, where are the bright lights and sign outfront?! this place need one desperately because this place is a GEM!!! BEAUTIFUL,UPSCALE,EFFORT! this place should be PACKED! if this place was on 6th street or deep ellum it would be a line out the door. the food is fantastic,drinks are just as good&the service is TOP tier. this is THE place for date night, night out, cocktail hour, anything. soo much detail put into this place, its insane for gbc. if you are 21+ you MUST stop here. we will be back. it reopened as a cocktail lounge around january 2023, not to confuse it with the restaurant it used to be. its october so they decorated the outdoors (pictured) for halloween it was so fun! inside the lounge is soo different but equally amazing in design. the only food item i didn't care for was the chocolate cake, it was dry and simple, without the creamcheese and berries it would have gotten a 0. 1 or 2 fine desserts would set it off, along with more marketing and a better entrance/signs so it's not so invisible

Love the atmosphere here! Great customer service and the cocktail I had- “Pink Flip-Flops” was awesome! The chocolate cake is delicious. The manager gave us a tour of the garden area showing us all the different decor, we’ll definitely be back to try more of the food!

We ended up here for my bachelorette party and were blown away. I’m not sure how such an amazing place exists in Gun Barrel City, but I would absolutely visit here again.

Waves 456 is amazing in every way. The owners, David & Thomas are fantastic. Thomas has personally bedazzled all of the artwork on the walls with Swarovski crystals. He is absolutely hilarious to talk to and it was so fun learning his life story. All of the bartenders and staff are knowledgeable and kind. The food was delish, and the drinks are tasty… and pretty!

When we told the staff we were celebrating they produced bachelorette sashes, necklaces, and cocktail napkins out of thin air. It was such a nice and welcoming touch. At some point they even surprised us with complimentary chocolate covered strawberries! Don’t skip on this place.

This place is a true gem! My husband and I had such a wonderful evening at this posh cocktail lounge! Our server Joseph was both knowledgeable and pleasant! The drinks were divine! Best of all was the tour we received from David Westerfield himself! What a beautiful shinny human! This place is a treasure trove of a life’s worth of collectibles, art work and artifacts! I could have spent a full day just taking in all the beauty! I highly recommend you check this place out! It is unlike anything else in the area!
