Shelly's McClains Restaurant

Nice place for lunch at a reasonable price. We had the luncheon chicken fried steak. Will certainly come back to try something from the breakfast menu.

We stopped at Shelly's Diner on our road trip and it was great. Good home cooking and the staff was very nice. They knew we were from out of town and also helped us with directions.

Great food. Known for their biscuits and I can totally see why. They were perfect. Had 2 eggs and grits as well super good. The staff was very friendly, no waiting for coffee. Super clean and the local diner vibe. I will be back and try lunch!

I just recently moved to this area and have been going around trying out the local cuisine. So far, this place has been the absolute best place I have eaten in this area, and more to the point, one of the best places I have ever eaten. It pains me to see they aren't open during the dinner hours as I would probably gain a lot of weight as I want to eat here all the time but will have to settle for weekends due to work schedules. I will be coming back to this place again. I had just a simple cheeseburger and fries, it was fantastic.

The best breakfast and coffee. I have been coming here for year's always GREAT service. It's back open again under new management but she has kept it as much to the original McClain's as possible.
