Captain’s House On The Lake

We absolutely loved our stay at Captain's House on the Lake. One block off the Granbury square, we were able to walk to the square and enjoy the shops and restaurants. Tony and Tina were amazing hosts, providing us with a delicious breakfast and beautiful rooms. Would definitely return!

This is the most lovely home and we loved everything about it! Everything was perfect with no detail forgotten. We appreciated the historical aspect, and the owners have done an amazing job keeping with the Victorian era. Clean! Delicious breakfast! Plus, perfect location - walking distance to the historic square and on the lake with gorgeous views. Don’t miss the sunsets and sunrises from the back. Great price as well. This is one of Granbury’s top gems. The owners were available for questions, made the stay special, and were extremely thoughtful and kind to our needs. Highly recommend!

Beautifully decorated Bed & Breakfast in Granbury, TX! Home was built in 1875. We stayed here last December on our way to visit our daughter & family & decided we needed to do it again this year. Very peaceful & relaxing! Tony & Tina are wonderful hosts! We love coming to this city!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Captain's House! The room was super spacious and the views over the lake were beautiful. The sunsets I witnessed were spectacular. Breakfast was delivered promptly by 8:30. I would stay here again. This stay was for business.

I also met Tina, one of the owners. She was able to share with me a bit of the history of the house, as well as a few restaurants for me to try.

The home is beautiful, and we loved all the attention to detail.
Tina and her husband are wonderful hosts. The location is fabulous, with views of the lake and a short walk to the historic Grandberry Square, shops and restaurants. Also, there is a great park also in walking distance to go for a walk or run. We will be back for sure!
