A great therapist is someone who can empathize with a wide variety of people and understand their choices and feelings even if they themselves do not agree with them, is emotionally attuned to individuals needs, and can help identify and articulate their feelings and Paula absolute hits the nail on the head in these aspects! Paula maintains professionalism and respect while being effortlessly relatable and comforting with a healthy dose of self accountability motivation.

I came to Paula six years ago fresh out of detox. She helped me maintain my sobriety and give up my craving for alcohol. I stayed with her regularly for two years and she was amazing. She understands addiction and she understands marriage problems. My addiction to alcohol had deeply affected my marriage and she helped me with both. I still see her occasionally when a crisis arises and she is the most caring and understanding therapist I have ever seen. I am 50 years old and throughout my drinking career I have seen many therapist. None have ever compared to Paula

Mrs Paula Schirman has been my advisor/counselor to me for as long as I can remember. Ill leave it at this. I'd never go anywhere else. She listens and seems to ask the right questions. I have many friends that look to her wisdom as well.
