Just had a great experience at Funtown RV in Cleburne, Tx. Jacob worked hard to get me into the camper I really wanted. Emmanuel took the time to show me multiple units until I found what I was looking for. Brandie in finance was amazing. And Kenny in service was so helpful.
If you’re looking for a camper this is the place to go. Thank you all…
We've had a number of RVs in the past, mostly travel trailers, but also a Class C. We got out of them for a while, but recently decided to get back in.
We started shopping RV dealers in the area (we live in Granbury, TX) and with the RV market being crazy right now, decide we wanted a used one, but weren't willing to pay "new prices".
Fun Time RV (FT RV) was one of our stops. The irony is that one of the units we looked at, we ended up buying, but more on that later.
Our first visit to FT RV, we met a sales representative. While the individual wasn't rude, we did get that "used car salesman" feel. In any event, the pricing wasn't going to work for us, so we said thank you and moved on.
While we were still searching, David Silva (Internet Sales) reached out. I briefly told him what transpired. He asked for another opportunity to try to make a deal.
Admittedly, we put them in a small "box" to fit for our payment / pricing.
He asked what unit would best work for us and I told him the 2018 Coleman 16FB that we had looked at previously, basically because of the walk-around bed, no slide, etc.
He, in turn, engaged Tony Ensor (Sales Manager) who confirmed all that we had discussed and we stood firm on our payment.
Then the finance team got involved, led by Brandy (Finance Manager). We had to work through some details. But even then we weren't quite where we wanted / needed to be.
Tony, re-engaged and they worked and made us an offer that we couldn't refuse.
As I said previously, we've owned a number of RVs before, including some "high-end" units and while some of the purchase experiences were decent, the re-engagement efforts by the FT RV staff exceed anything we expected or have experienced.
On the day of delivery (this past week) one of the Service Techs, Kolton, did the walk-through. Even though I've owned a number of units before, there were still a couple of things that he pointed out that I hadn't seen before. Additionally, he provided a ladder to allow me to check the roof, which I had been unable to do previously. I noticed a few locations that needed touch up resealing. He promptly got out the Dicor and took care of them.
We plan to use this trailer for both local getaways as well as distance travel when we go to visit family. (Basically taking our motel with us). We plan to keep this a number of years. But when we decide to change out, FT RV will DEFINITELY, be our 1st and possibly ONLY choice.
For ANYONE reading this, if you're seriously considering an RV, I strongly recommend that you do YOURSELF a favor and skip all of the shopping and "pressure sales" experiences, etc. of other dealers (even the BIG "national chain") and directly contact David Silva (or whoever is in that position at FT RV internet sales).
While I understand that not all sales representatives are the same, speaking as a consumer, do yourself a favor and skip ahead to someone who will truly work to get you into your next RV.
For the Fun Time RV folks we interacted with (round 2), thank you for your efforts and we hope you enjoyed the cookies!!!

Fun town rv is by far the best experience I've ever had with making a purchase! I showed up 2 hours before my appointment after driving 1400 miles only to find out everything we had discussed over internet and text message was done. It is rare to find that kind of professionalism this day and age so when you see it, it should be well noted! Thanks again Justin Renner for making the trip totally worth it!
Great buying experience and easy pickup of our new fifth wheel! We have worked with Justin Renner both times purchasing a camper and he was excellent with helping us decide what would be most beneficial for our needs. We are thankful for an awesome experience!
