Wife was at 42 weeks and we came to Dr Glover for a second opinion. It ended up being the same outcome, C section, but he took the time to explain all the reasons why. He does take his time to think about what he is going to say next and also looks away when thinking. This was explained up front so we knew it wasn’t any disrespect. It was the upmost respect TGIF him to care about what he says next. He told my wife multiple times he was sorry it had to turn out this way as he knew from just a shot talk how important a VBAC attempt was for her. She was not favorable and a stranger to him but he explained in detail as why he felt it was not a good idea for VBAC. All this while on call and meeting us at 11pm. The surgery happened 3 hours later and went well. The nurses in the maternity ward were so nice and helpful. Watching babies at time so we could sleep. Shout out to Amanda and Michelle for being the best to us. The others were just as great but Amanda and Michelle really stepped in to help us the most.
I love Dr. Glover and Jennifer Juve. Seriously, a perfect pair. If you’re looking for a safe and competent pair who truly know their stuff, go see these two. Dr. Glover is the brilliant medical guru who has seen it all, and Jennifer Juve and her midwife experience along with her age and personality make her so easy to talk to.
