Joshua Vet clinic is the only clinic we've used for many years for our babies. One for 22 years, and one for 17 years, we just got established again with her for 2 new puppies. Doc Suzy is the best and we love her office staff, one of which has been there for over 30 years! With our 17 year old dog, we took him to Alvarado and they just automatically put him on heart meds which did nothing because they missed the kidney failure. Took him to Joshua and she found the kidney failure along with heart failure.
We weren't ready to let him go, but Doc Suzy has a common saying for the old dog generation, They'll let you know when its time, it's all about quality of life , not the quantity of time with them, she'd rather not cause an animal to suffer any longer than they should. and our boy was stressfully suffering. When it was time to let our boy go, the office staff was visibly upset with us, they are kind and compassionate with all they see.
They are wonderful. Back in the summer my dog was very sick. I had a hard time finding a vet that would see her. They worked her in the same day I called. They explained everything and were very compassionate. It's 2022 and I still use this amazing animal clinic. Would highly recommend.
I've had my dog Luna for over a year now and we have been seeing Dr Stewart and Dr Jobe since. I recently moved further away and kept intending to find a new vet closer to home, but I don't know if I could ever trust anyone else like I trust them. They are worth the bit of a drive for me. Luna was acting sick a few weeks ago, blood work showed infection, got antibiotics then acted like herself again. Two weeks later she started acting lethargic again. Dr Stewart found time to work her in, even let me drop her off for most of the day as i work night shift and needed to sleep. She found out Luna had pyometra (despite being so young and only having had one heat cycle in her life) and got her into surgery the next day. Dr Stewart even came in on her day off to make sure Luna was taken care of. Im forever grateful for Dr Stewart, Dr Jobe, and all the staff for saving my fur baby's life.
My derson (Dexter) will put on the charm for female doctors. Here he has 2 and he loves them both. They are professional and diligent. Wouldn't take my fur babies anywhere else. Thank you for all you do.
This is one of the best vets that I have been to. I brought my dog in that was very nervous and acting strange. The vet was very busy, but still made time to see our dog right away. The vet went right into my dog’s mouth and found a huge sticker under her tongue. They did not worry about getting bit and went right in. GREAT experience, would highly recommend.
