After 2 years with Dura-tech I can honestly say I've never been happier to go to work everyday. I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with such a wonderful company and their amazing staff. It is unfortunate that most of the reviews I've seen slant negative, but then, the happy rarely take the time to post.
I've been extremely content and don't mind sharing that DTP is an exceptional company. They offer generous rates of pay, great benefits, empower their employees and advance within the company whenever possible. Yes, the work can be hard at times and there are standards to be met (especially regarding safety) but the benefits far outweigh the "crunch" times. I've seen many employees advance through departments when they are open to learning and hungry for new responsibilities. There are multiple employees who have been a part of the biz for over 20 years, some have been here in excess of 30 years!
It's obvious to me that Adam Hubbell (President) has made great strides to foster an open and team oriented atmosphere. He isn't afraid to invest in his people or the business and I can't wait to be a part of what DTP does in the future.
I have been employed at Dura-Tech for two years now. I have been given many opportunities for growth, on top of the competitive pay and hard to beat benefits provided. Hard work combined with coachability is recognized and rewarded here.
The company President, Adam, is my direct supervisor, and he has happily provided the tools and knowledge I need to continue growing here long term. Adam is incredibly level headed, forgiving, and compassionate and has been a pleasure to work for. The former Vice President/GM, Jason, was pretty great. His expectations of everyone were always high, and while some find that unreasonable, I think it creates an environment where everyone is doing their fair share. Nobody in ownership positions should accept half-effort or excuses if they want their business to be successful. I wish more people at different levels of the company understood that.
As with any family business, things can be tricky, opinions are strong, and meeting standards is required. Having a good attitude and putting in the necessary effort are MUSTS to make it here.
Currently working at Dura-Tech! This year marks 6 years for me and I truly can not say anything negative. They have great benefits and make sure you get your hours in even if work is slow. I have worked side by side with the President and former Vice President Jason. Neither have gave me any trouble. I will say that they take pride in keeping Dura-Tech successful. Which I think any good boss would do! I hate to hear that people have had bad experiences here and I hope you all find the right job for you!
