Brookshire's

It's good to have another grocery store to shop other than the traditional Walmart and Kroger. Although, I enjoy shopping at those stores just as much.

The best store around, but don’t tell those Kroger folks :). We love our Forney Brookshires. John in the butcher shop is the best, very professional and friendly. Excellent selection of fresh cuts, specialty pre-prepared items, and seafood! Pharmacy has always been our go to as well. Just the best store! If you did have an issue or suggestion the manager is very quick to respond and provide a solution. Thank you guys!

Location: difficult if you are not from the area.
Parking: big parking lot enough to park a small trailer while shopping. Disabled parking close to the store and no obstacle
Inside store: clean, plenty of items selection, competitive prices
Staff: cordial and helpful staff
Waiting lines maybe 2 at each line on a Friday
Took one star because the location is difficult for people outside the area. Gps area

I didn't know this was a grocery store until today. I kept thinking it was a book store or something til my friend bought me here. Very nice deli, cute plant section when you walk in. They make some very cute cakes and have a very nice and fresh produce section. The fresh meat and seafood section is small but they have a great selection of crab legs shrimp and steaks. They even have a blood pressure machine to check you vitals for free. I will definitely return to this store in the near future.
