Mabank Cafe

This is just a little hometown restaurant . The food was very good. The cook actually knows how to cook an over medium egg to perfection. The service was excellent. It was so good, we took ten people back for lunch. You should give this place a try. We loved it.

Been here several times and the food is great; however, I noticed this time the salad bar has been removed. I was cool with it because I figured it had to do with Covid and health reasons, I figured a side house salad would be substituted however it was not. The price is still the same and the menu states it comes with 2 sides and salad. Maybe this can be fixed by substituting a house salad or updating the menus to remove the salad.

The food here has been good every time I have been here about 3 times. Our waitress did a great job and very polite. Prices are good and food and service are good what more could you ask for I'll be back.

After a 16-hr. fast, my fiancée and I visited and enjoyed a much-needed southern breakfast, chicken fried steak and eggs + biscuits and gravy. Everyone there was incredibly nice too. We will definitely be back!

Probably the best place for breakfast in Maybank/Gunbarrel. Friendly staff. Good food. Buffet wasn't open when we went. Did was delicious. Lost a star for not asking how my wife likes her bacon, or warm syrup. Still a great place to eat though.
