I have had two daughters choose Blessed Joy Midwifery. Sheila Brown is the best! She is so knowledgeable, the calm in the storm, so encouraging, affirming, intelligent, humorous, down to earth, laid back, and full of the Holy Spirit. She tells you everything you want to know, everything you need to know, and then stands back and let’s you lead the way in how you want your birth story to unfold. Once you experience birth with her, she and her team are like family. We experienced some scary moments, but Sheila handled them with intelligence, skills and boldness. I was so thankful to have her right there on top of everything. The world needs many more Sheila Browns! We truly love her.

Sheila and her team took amazing care of me & my son during my pregnancy, labor, birth & postpartum! I could not have done any of it without their encouragement and care!! I will never forget the big smiles on their faces as they watched me bring my first born into this world. These ladies find absolute, pure joy in what they do and that’s why they are so wonderful at it! I could not have asked for a more perfect birth with my baby boy at Blessed Joy Midwifery!!

Sheila has been given a gift by God and freely shares it with everyone! She is the most dedicated person I know. Trust me, I've been married to her for 30 years! Having been with her through her journey and knowing so many midwives, clients and students I can attest to her dedication, compassion and love for her ladies, families and babies! I am continously in amazement at her ability to juggle so many responsibilities with midwifery and still play a most crucial role as wife, mother, daughter, friend, counselor, prayer warrior and bringer of joy! I know that me and my family are beyond blessed by her and that you will be as well.

Every since I found out I was pregnant I knew I wanted to go to Blessed JOY Midwifery to have my baby. I’ve been knowing Sheila for years now and she’s such a beautiful person. Her and her team are some of the most kind, caring, funny, and loving people you will ever meet. I’m so happy I’ve been able to easily connect with them because it gives me more confidence that they will take good care of me when it’s time for the birth of my son. They make me feel very comfortable, they provide a safe place to talk about all the things, and have given me so much helpful information. Which are all things that are very important to me! I ALWAYS look forward to my appointments and they’ve helped me work through so much in my pregnancy. I’m looking forward to the birth of my baby coming up in December! With all that being said, I do HIGHLY recommend this midwifery.❤️
