Z's Wood Fired Pizza

Lunch was delicious! I got a pesto pizza and my husband got a normal pizza, and both were great. We got to try a San Antonio brand soda, which was really cool to see available. This place was huge outside with plenty of seating for busier times or big parties. I liked our cozy nook toward the back of the restaurant where the lighting was really nice. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and nice. We are a huge fan of the service and the pizza here.

Great food very friendly service.
Had the Athena, the Aloha, with a Wookie for dessert.
Coupled with beer and a glass of wine.
Family owned, started out with a food truck years ago and now have a nice establishment.
Friday evening not too crowded. Live music (sounded good tho i didn’t wander out to take a look)
Seemed like a popular local hang out & had a casual relaxing vibe.

The food and atmosphere are great. Small play area for kids needs a bit of upkeep. Exposed large rocks that could pose as potential trip and fall incidents should probably be removed and the area could use some covering like wood chips or something. the kids enjoyed the structure and the food. Pizza and salads are always fresh and delicious. Only dinged a star because there’s a lot of debris and things just about in the back that the kids can get into/potential injury otherwise everything else has always been great.
