The Texacali was so delish, my husband loved his salad! Though my so wasn't to happy with the pizza.
But other than that, it was all great!
Favorite college hangout 38 years ago and still is a must stop everytime I'm in Kingsville. My go to is the the Texacali with extra bell peppers and jalapenos, 2nd is their stromboli with extra grilled bell peppers. Always buy and extra for when I get home. lol
Greatly enjoyed visiting with owner Scott and reminiscing of days gone by.
Small world share, my now retired sister-in -law (2nd grade teacher) taught his daughter who is now a 2nd grade teach at same local school.
Congratulations to Scott and Young's Pizza on his 50 years in business.
Whoop!!
Gig'em
Strangely enough, I've never had their pizza. However, their sandwiches are so good! Bathrooms are wallpapered with comics. There's a cool mural of the state of Texas and a treehouse-like seating area.
February 2021 update: No dining in due to COVID-19. Even the outdoor seating is closed off. You can call in your order or order at the counter inside.
Wow been a long long long time since ive been here but man it's still just as good as always. The Texicali yum yum yum yummyness. ** Side note**Pizza is not that great but people come for the subs. Sandwich......whatever you want to call it ....I call it GREATNESS between bread. Take a sharpie so you can put your autograph on the1 wall ..ALSO PARKING IS DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET. COME IN ...SIT DOWN ...AND ENJOY.
This is one of our favorite come back to places when we visit Kingsville. Although it’s Young’s Pizza. You have to get a sandwich! By far the most talked about sandwich is the texicali. It’s thin sliced steak with mushroom, onion, white cheese and mayo. They also have a chicken version called the chickicali. I personally order the Turkey. It’s delicious with pickle, onion, and mayo. I haven’t found anything I don’t enjoy on the menu. Great place!
