Ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and greens for lunch along with a mocha ice latte (asked for the latte to be sweet) everything turned out great. I really want to know what they use to make the mashed potatoes because when I cook them at home they don’t have all the flavor like these did! My ice coffee was great! I would love for them to expand their flavors in the drinks though. I feel if you’re going to offer peppermint or chamomile teas you should offer raspberry, peach or other flavors as well to accommodate different customers. Only gave a 4 star because pricing is ridiculous. We live in a small town and with other food options around I feel like competition should be a worrisome for this place according to other reviews. I understand Dayton is going to grow soon so maybe the owner based it’s prices off of future growth.

Definitely liked the place. Staff is friendly. Place is nice & clean. Not a fan of the iced coffee though because I like my iced coffee sweet & could not get it to be sweet after tons of sugar packs. However if you like strong iced coffee then this might be your thing. The prices are a bit high but I think it’s worth it for being a small town with not much options.

Everything was great except my breakfast sausage didn't taste like breakfast sausage and my son's brisket was 90% fat. Literally the brisket had 1 tiny sliver of meat. He did say it would have been good had they actually gave him something more than one bite. Iced coffee was alright. Pancake had excellent flavor, eggs were cooked perfectly, bacon was good and crispy.
