I absolutely love it here! Feels like you're spending time with family!
I have been to several nursing homes in Houston. Moved here in Feb 2018 from a brand new fancy facility in Humble Liberty Health Care is by far the best. The physical th&jhjhhhjjhhhjhj hi hherapy dept is old school & they work hands on instead of pointing you to a machine. Every therapist is well trained & goes beyond the norm in helping one improve. The CNAS ARE OUTSTANDING IN THEIR ATTITUDE AND THEY ANSWER THE CALL LIGHT VERY QUICKLY. THE FOOD HERE IS ABOVE THE TYPICAL NORM & special requests are encouraged. The Activities director , Tracie & her assistant Mary go far far out of their way to help in daily activities. Each week a trip to the movies or lunch or to a local event is scheduled & carried out. They even have two vans for this& if your loved one is not capable of leaving the building, they will go shopping for them every week, without fail. Many nursing homes shy away from this prsctice even though they advertise the opposite. Id give Liberty 10 stars if i could. The administrator is always in the hallways & addresses concerns immediately& he & his staff follow up. The place is unbelievable to say the least your loved one will be cared for by the administrator, the nurses, the CNAS , housekeeping Maintenance & anyone in between.
I had to place my mother here in December of 2014. I visit often,, keep in touch with the staff and address any issues my mother may have. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Willing to help make my mom'e life easier with losing her independence. I am now having to place her on Hospice care and they are working with me to make that transition easy as well. Having come from a background of working in nursing homes years ago, I know that family involvement is very important. I would recommend this facility. Drop in visits always welcome. Having lunch with your loved one is always welcome. Family fun nights, The activities directer is the best I have ever seen. I always get phone calls when her medications are changed.
