(March 22, 2020, 1:44 pm)I have eaten here many times and each time I am blown away with the tenderness of the meat, the light smoke flavor and the super Barbeque taste that all of us Texans crave. My last visit I tried the Frito pie and again it was a superb choice. The meat was stacked up high and the taste was impeccable. Don't blink or you will miss this place but once you find it you will be back.

(September 19, 2019, 3:40 pm)You know when you are at the right place when you pull up and see nothing but construction vehicles parked outside. I had the 2 meat plate. I selected sliced brisket, and sausage. With potato salad and coleslaw.
The flavor of the brisket was amazing. Great smoke ring, and the seasoning was on point. When you pulled the brisket it had a good pull, and broke cleanly. The sausage had jalapenos in it. They weren't too hot, and had great flavor. The cherry cobbler was amazing.
I definitely recommend this place. I have been here several times, and the quality has been great every time.
(October 26, 2018, 8:17 pm)Stopped by for lunch and got the Eddie experience. Yes another plastic fork joint but the sliced brisket was tender & delicious. Beans had a little too much black pepper seasoning in them but I gobbled it up. Slaw was good. I'll be back my next trip thru Lubbock, closed on Mondays, hours 10:30 to 2:30. A+++
