Slaton Care Center

I am happy here. Everything is nice and well kept. One reason I like it is that the kids (staff) call me Granny. I like to visit with my family/friends when I can. I like my room. It's not home but everyone does their best and they really do try hard especially when they call me Granny.

I never have had to live in a nursing home before but I like it here. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. The food is good and the people are nice.

My mom just moved in a few weeks ago. The staff here have been amazing. They always call me and keep me updated on how my mom is doing. And anytime I have a question, they always get back with me ASAP. In the facility my mom was in previously that was never the case. I Am extremely happy with the Slaton Care Center thus far.

I’ve never had the pleasure of visiting Slaton Care Center but am frequently in contact with a friend who is a resident there. Her physical and mental health and happiness have improved dramatically, and I attribute that to the positive environment, excellent meals, and good care that she receives. Everything I’ve seen and heard from her, and seeing the Facebook pictures of happy residents and employees leads me to believe it’s a great place to work and one of the most pleasant facilities of this type that I’ve ever seen or heard of. They seem to have so many activities and entertainment. They also schedule Facetime calls for their residents to visit with friends and relatives. This has been a very important and enjoyable thing for me and my friend.

Every time I have walked into Slaton my visit has been welcoming and friendly. Great homelike environment. The residents are amazing and you can tell they are flourishing with the incredible staff and the amazing food!!!
