“Took my son to the Shallowater Clinic for his 9 month well baby visit and waited 2hrs before finally walking out because we hadn't seen Dr. Carreon yet. They are completely clueless when it comes to breastfeeding, the nurse weighed my son wrong, and even filled out the wrong questionnaire before she realized the one she was filling out was for a 9 year old, not a 9 month old. The curtain in the exam room had blood stains all over it, trash was really full, and counter tops looked dirty. Needless to say, we walked out after 2hrs and switched doctors!! ***UPDATE**** JULY 6TH, 2015 Dr. Carreon called me this morning to apologize for the way things were handled. This was my first time ever speaking with him and I must say I see why everyone loves him. Dr. Carreon's apology was very genuine, heart-felt, and from the perspective another parent. Speaking with him changed my whole opinion on his clinic and I look forward to giving them a second chance.”
