(June 18, 2022, 3:38 pm)This is our favorite place to stop for ice cream. Our family of four has tried many things on the menu and everything has been delicious! Reasonable prices and nice atmosphere to sit outside and enjoy an ice cream cone or treat!
(March 6, 2022, 5:05 pm)If you are looking for a laid back Sunday snack place, this is the place for you! Located in the outskirts of Castroville along Hwy 90, Mr. Penguin offers a great variety of snacks. From Elote en vaso, to mangonadas, rusas and so much more!
We had banana splits, to which we got to choose the flavor of the ice cream. The bananas were nice and fresh! We left with a rusa to go, and the flavor was just on point!
There is a seating area to enjoy your snacks. Lovely place for a Sunday snack!
(January 16, 2022, 4:55 pm)I just moved near by and I was looking for a good snack spot this place was amazing. I got the Agua mineral preparado it was soooo flavorful. I was torn between This string and the Clamato preparado, the owner was so kind and brought out a sample which was amazing. The mangonada was great as well. I will absolutely be back, I highly this place:
