Rice Elementary School

Teachers and principals are great. Any time a situation occurred, my children and their interests/wellbeing seemed to be the first consideration. Thank you! My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the school is in the Conroe ISD district, who made one (that I know of) very large mistake with one of our children. When I discovered our child did not receive the mandated speech therapy for months and began looking into the issue, the mid-level district staff I contacted tried to cover-up and mislead me. When I contacted the district's director, we didn't have a pleasant visit, but she addressed the problems immediately, including the mid-level staff's inappropriate responses and apparent attempts to cover-up the problems. I was eventually satisfied with the outcome, but I had to fight for my child's rights for months first.

My daughter went to this school for a couple years and loved it. I didn't have any problems.

My daughter loves going to this school! Staff is out of this world!
