(February 20, 2019, 7:45 pm)You need to know what your getting when you come here. This place opened in the early 1940s, it's an old fashioned burger joint. They serve beer out back on and honor system from a cooler. The people are kind and friendly and the service was quick. This is not a fancy place, it's a solid burger joint. And they do hamburgers and steaks and a few other things. It has a certain sense of history about it though. It's a place that knows it's a greasy spoon and it's proud to be greasy spoon :-) you like hamburgers this is your spot in the deep fried dill pickles are nice as well :-)
(January 25, 2019, 7:38 pm)We ate lunch here for the first time yesterday. The lady the was super nice, gave us a quick run down, & was very helpful! The Cheese Burgers were HUGE & delicious! We also enjoyed some fried pickles and broccoli cheese bites while we waited. Didn't take long to get our food. We will definitely be coming back again!
(December 28, 2018, 2:20 pm)The burgers are really good, fresh ground beef, crisp and fresh vegetables. The onion rings are really good, as well as the sweet potato fries and regular fries. Wife had the chicken salad on a croissant, she said it was "yummy"! ???? Highly recommend making the stop at this small and super friendly joint. The service was great, waitress was extremely friendly and very accommodating.
(December 10, 2018, 6:17 am)The best part was the onion rings. The burger is impressive; it's big, but doesn't have that much flavor. Unfortunately, for the price, you could get a good meal at most restaurants.
(November 27, 2018, 7:57 am)Fantastic burger! This place is very relaxed, almost encouraged outdoor seating due to the limited indoor space. But the outside seating is covered and creative. Even a sandbox for the little kids to get into and play. They do not apologize for their relaxed, casual(slow-ish) service, or for their small menu. They know what they are good at and they stick to it. BURGERS. The sever was very nice though. We will be back for sure.
