(September 8, 2017, 12:06 pm)My wife and I moved to Walden almost five years ago. We started looking for a new church home, but stopped after the first visit to Walden Church. If you are looking for an incredibly friendly and welcoming Bible based church, this is the place for you. We made many close friends quickly, which helped us assimilate into the neighborhood. An added benefit is that you don't have to make the thirty minute drive into Conroe, which allows you to be more involved.
Before our first visit, I was concerned that I wouldn't be satisfied with the lesson from the pulpit. I'm glad to say that we've been thrilled. I've been a member of several of the Houston "mega" churches and I can tell you that our pastor consistently delivers sermons equal to any of them.
If you're looking for a solid Bible based church in the Walden area, you should definitely check out Walden Church.
(September 8, 2017, 11:06 am)At WCC I have enjoyed participating in an old fashioned choir under the able direction of our Music Minister Mike Morgan. While the contemporary service is in progress, the adult Bible study takes place in a casual atmosphere that allows for discussion. Although I have been a life-long listener to sermons, Pastor David ALWAYS leaves me with something fresh from Scripture to consider.

Walden Community Church's first services were held on March 22, 1987 in the new building. Since that time, three other men have come alongside our family and contributed to the leadership and history of our church as Senior Pastor; Ken Ramey, Roy Joe Ham and Tom Golden.
