“I was a bit nervous coming to see Dr. Piper because of previous reviews I had read/been told, but honestly I couldn’t have been more wrong. Then entire staff was extremely nice and efficient and Dr. Piper was extremely conscise and relayed my symptoms etc like he had actually taken a look at my file. He was able to immediately diagnose me and stressed that he did not want to go the surgery route if possible which I really appreciated. All in all, I was REALLY impressed and relieved to have been to see him and recommend him to others as well. I also did not have a long wait time which was nice and any and all cost was upfront and easily explained. They also sent my prescription in immediately for me so that I’d have it ready ASAP.”

Not only was the receptionist friendly and helpful, but I was seen right on time and my hygienist Heather was excellent - passionate and knowledgable about dentistry and was very meticulous and gentle cleaning my teeth. That was probably the most thorough and gentle cleaning I’ve ever had. Had X-rays done as well and she was so careful positioning the bite plate not to cause me any discomfort. “I was told by a different doctor six months ago that my foot issue (hallucinations rigidus) required surgery within the year or it would get so bad that the surgery would be MUCH worse. I’m so thankful that he wasn’t Tier I on my insurance, as it forced me to get a second opinion from Dr. Blevins yesterday. He could have so easily agreed with the other doctor after I told him about it. But instead he discouraged me from choosing surgery. He spent a great deal of time discussing other ideas that I should try first. It was one of the best, most comfortable conversations I’ve ever had with a doctor. It didn’t feel rushed, as it so often feels with too many doctors these days. I’m so glad I’ve found Dr. Blevins and will trust him to continue to guide me if the alternatives to surgery we discussed do not work!”

Dr. Martinez is very patient and can use pictures and other things to do an exam without using the typical machines at the Optometrist office...
