“Have not been here very long but so far, the park looks very nice and is clean and well maintained. People in the office are nice and very helpful. Their pool is clean and park is quiet but not too far from town. Good fishing too! Prices are reasonable, especially having lake access sites. Note for long-term campers: missing a few amenities such as laundry services but there are places near by to go. There is no mail delivery here although you can receive packages at the office for pick up. I would recommend this park to all of my friends. Haven't had to worry about a thing since I got here.”

“Normally I shy away from barbecue restaurants which wrap their meats in shrink wrap while they’re in the warmer. This is a very unhealthy practice. Having said that, the food tastes decent, the prices are good and they’re open late. They are the only restaurant in the area, except for the one that is on the lake which serves cold barbecue sauce. Four stars is a positive review.”

“Very nice place. Updated amenities. Free laundry and ice machine. Heated pool with hot tub. Grilling area by pool. Community fire and picnic area. Nice full trees to give that “in the woods” feel even though near the hwy. Hwy noise the closer you are to it. Very quiet park otherwise. Several long-term campers and cabins to rent also. Nice location near the Sam Houston National Forest for hiking or the lakes. Our stay was over a weekend.”
