Tropic Island Resort - South Campus

Good all-around Park not sure how you get RVs moved in and out of here comfortably but that's up to the transport guy

I’ve been staying on the beach for about a month so far, but had generator issues; therefore, I needed “shore power” for a few days. It’s a few blocks up the road from the beach and very convenient.

I originally had stopped in there to dump my tanks before I had generator issues.

All staff was extremely friendly with great energy…especially the young lady and the manager (I assume.). They were always very helpful with all the silly questions that I had.

I was expecting the pool to be lukewarm bath water temperature, but to my surprise- it was very refreshing. I did not get into the hot tub.

WiFi was pretty strong and it was nice to get some things done without using my hotspot.

Roads were a little narrow, but I had no problem with my 29 foot motor home in my Jeep on tow. The mosquitoes surprised me as I didn’t experience any ON the beach, but they left me alone after putting on some OFF spray.

My experience was incredibly positive and I really appreciated all their assistance and hospitality.

Owner is extremely sweet. The campground is a little cramped, but very well kept. Very nice pool & hot tub. Prices are good and location is great.
