Coach’s Island Grill

This is the place you want to go for brunch, for breakfast, for everything!!!
The wait is worth it. If I lived nearby, I'd be there every weekend.
On top of the amazing, tasty and delicious food, their service is outstanding. Kudos to the ladies at the front of the house.

This place has great food - LOVED the eggs and hash browns and would absolutely come back. Pancake was a little crispy for my liking but still tasty and very filling - you won’t walk away hungry. Only reason for 4 stars is because of how small the place is - we were told about 45 minute wait and ended up waiting close to 2 hours for a table. Definitely too small of a space for how delicious the food is, which brings a lot of customers. They call your name out loud so you have to be there. I would maybe recommend going early morning to try and avoid so long of a wait?

Yes, there was a bit of a wait due to a smaller space and tons of people wanting to eat there, but you order while you wait and the food came out almost immediately after we were seated so it works out about the same time as it would at a larger restaurant so no complaints there. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, and the people were friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be coming back on our next trip.

Very small breakfast restaurant. Waited about 30mins before being seated. Must order while or a little after putting your name on the wait list, so that they have it in advance. So be prepared for that. Besides that, the food is good, fresh, and the portions are huge. If your someone that eat little, order the French toast or something small. But definitely a really cool spot to check out if your on a small getaway to Port A.

I really want to give Coach’s a 5, but they’d 86’ed chicken fried steak, and I was pretty much only in the mood for that.

That said, the steak and eggs were good. The steak was a flank steak and not steak-steak, and the hash browns were a bit salty.

Service was superb, and the decor was funky and comfortable.

Will definitely be back.
