The instructers are great with kids! You should definitely try this place if you're wanting riding lessons.
My 10-year old daughter has been taking lessons from Crystal for about 6-7 months now, and it has been nothing short of amazing. Crystal is so connected to the horses, and the kids -- focused on teaching everything from A-Z, and making the learning environment fun but educational at the same time. We LOVE Crystal and King's Kid Ranch! So patient, knowledgeable and a knack for teaching specifically at your child's level that cannot be beat.
King’s Kid Ranch is the absolute best place to take your children for lessons. Crystal is absolutely amazing!!
I've been coming here for over a year now and the Jenkins family have become quick friends of mine. Crystal has a gift for not only reading the horses but also has a great gauge of reading people, too. She always puts the horses and your safety first, and believes in teaching everything A-Z. She gives you the opportunity to try, and try again, and to teach you the proper way until you nail it. Whether it's tacking up or riding, she does give you the chance to see what you may be doing incorrectly, and more importantly WHY we do things the way we do, then give you the confidence to correct it.
I have learned so much in my time here, more than the other ranches I have ridden at for the last 20 years combined. Many trainers have your horses tacked up before you arrive, or just treat you like a number...but not here. You will be tacking up and taking care of your horse from top to bottom until the job is all done, down to cleaning up after your horse and yourself. At King's Kid Ranch, you will be truly learning what it takes to reflect genuine horsemanship and meeting some incredible people along the way.
