McGratton Park

I don't know why there is never anybody there.. it's an amazing park with a wide array of different things to do. Skating and basketball are my favorites. There is also a playground area for the little ones. The bathrooms aren't nasty like a lot of the other parks, which is a definite plus.

My son's love to skate at this park. Great for beginners and not too crowded. Has a little playground next to it for the little ones.

Nice, smooth surface to skateboard on (one of the previous "ramps" is no longer there, presume it was stolen). Lot's of oak trees providing shade, several benches and picnic tables available. Nice walking track and basketball court (2) area. Small playground area for younger kiddos (5-12) with a wood mulch base.

Nothing fancy, but not plain Jane either. Hidden, but in plain sight.

The play area needs a cover over it. Also, the baby swings are very high. It's hard to lift my baby to get her into the swing, I'm short. Update... No problems with the baby swings anymore, the swings are either lower, the ground is higher or I grew a about 6 inches.
