Sarah has entertained at many nursing homes, assisted living and rehab centers over the years, and we have seen what goes on and how residents are treated when family is not around. We have observed that the staff at Santa Fe has been consistently caring and supportive of their residents, when we have gone out there. Everyone is notified when we arrive and if necessary transported to the cafeteria where Sarah sets up. Staff insures that everyone who can share in the snacks and drinks we bring is served, or they bring alternate options if there are dietary restrictions. You can tell that the staff really "know" the residents and are respectful and helpful. We're looking forward to coming out again soon!
I would recommend this place for a loved one. Staff are very friendly, always smiling and treat you like family. Facility is clean and always smells good.
Great staff and residents at Santa Fe. I have had several family members in this facility. Could not complain about the care the staff provided. Wonderful family atmosphere!
We have had our Marine son with a sever traumatic brain injury in seven different facilities. Six of them failed him and the last one nearly killed him. To say I was not impressed is the only way I can say it without getting booted off this site.
Three years ago the facility he was in sent him to the hospital and the hospital refused to return him to that facility.
We scrambled and God sent us Santa Fe.
He has been there for three years and has not had to go to the ER once.
Words can not express what a blessing they have been. STEVEN has no short term memory. Every time he wakes up he must be reminded where he is and why. They work to acclimate him to the day.
The PT program there has worked with him to get him to restore the use of his legs that were drawn up under him from a seizure.
I have and will have friends who need to be cared for. I don’t hesitate to recommend them.
Recently our dear friend of 50 years wife had ALS he put her there and got to be her husband not her caregiver for the last three months of her life.
Would I recommend them? I have and will again.
