Linda Lyon Elementary

We could not be happier with this school, staff, and teachers. Mrs. Beasley (1st) and Mrs. Tartt (3rd) are wonderful. Highly recommend!

Linda Lyon is next level across every spectrum of Elementary School experience - from the facility itself, which was so well planned and executed - to the unparalleled leadership we have in Principal Gist and Vice Principal Jan Bruning - to all other devoted staff and truly outstanding educators. The culture within the walls of Linda Lyon is unique and inclusive, it is creative and thoughtful, and the messages and intentions and focus translate entirely and are doing a great work in all the students lives. Both of my children are thriving in ways that were never achieved at our prior school, and we couldn't be more grateful that our children have the privilege of being Linda Lyon Cubs.

My children have both experienced the most amazing teachers! Mrs. Ward has worked wonders with my daughter! She's a true lefty and even thinks backwards at time and Mrs. Ward has worked her magic (as only Mrs. Ward can do) and already corrected a lot of the problem. I could not imagine my daughter in a better class!

Ms. Petrocelly is equally amazing! Her standards are high and we appreciate her holding our son to those high standards and pushing him to justify himself before answering. I have a son who is excited about the upcoming STAAR exam instead of being afraid like we have experienced in other schools.

We have been extremely pleased with the teachers, staff and administration at Linda Lyon. They've answered questions promptly and thoroughly, never making me feel like I'm wasting their time. My kids are coming home telling me their goals for improvement and really owning their learning. I love to see that growth in their level of responsibility. These teachers are just plain bringing a new joy for learning and we couldn't be happier!
