Vela Sailing Supply

I had a small order, but it required some tricky analysis. Rod spend all the time I needed (a lot!), and gave spot-on advice, including sending me to a specific other vendor for some of what I needed. I've not yet received my order (just placed it today), but the quality of the service, and the quality of the advice were second to none. Very impressive.

Only two places on the internet claimed to have the part I needed. I was familiar with neither of them. One of them had some of the worst reviews I have ever seen. The other was Vela. Easy choice. I called Vela to verify that they had the part. They did and I ordered it. It was at my house three days later and $40 cheaper than their sketchy competition. I will be telling my sailing friends. Good job Vela.

Great that the info@velasailingsupply.c0m email address got a fast reply about availability of a product. I then ordered it that night and it was shipped fast the next day. Thank you!

I would have put 2 stars but I want to support the community. Poor communication on orders. Don't pay for expedited shipping as it won't go out in a timely manner or with any delays being communicated. Rigging is fairly priced, but cores are all slipping on arrival.

I was searching for a Winchrite at a good price and found Vela Sailing Supply. I called and talked with Rod, the friendliest and most helpful guy. Rod checked his inventory to make sure he had one in stock. I placed the online order and it shipped the same day...FREE....and arrived 3 days later. Great service! Thanks Rod!
