Insight Child & Family Counseling

I've known Jody personally for over two years, but I didn't meet with her for counseling until I hit a brick wall with my relationships and my friend strongly encouraged me to see her.

I'd met with another counselor for four years and spent the entire time monologing about my concerns with the equivalent feedback of "... and how do you feel about that" or "You seem to be doing great".

Jody, was engaged from the outset and constantly providing active listening and encouragement. She has helped me to understand more about myself and my tendencies in a constructive and supportive environment. She is trustworthy, constant, and committed at all times during my sessions and I know that she truly cares about me.

I would recommend her services to anyone who is willing to actively review their life trajectory and work towards healthy individual and relationship goals. She is completely qualified and a constant professional. I will be seeing her for years to come with less frequency, because I feel so empowered by her suggestions.

Jody has experienced marriage, children, grandchildren, and sadness that comes from a loved one passing away. Jody is a strong Christian counselor, active in the LDS church which leads her to protecting children and preserving families. I always feel safe and free to speak what's on my mind when I'm with her without being judged. Feeling safe during counseling is very important!
