Oakwood was good for my brother ...He was there during the first part of when Covid hit the middle of March-June. During that time he was cared for and the staff did everything possible to keep him happy. Obviously, during adverse times, it was hard to know what to do with the patients and the family members. Oakwood Nursing and Rehab did the best they could do under the circumstances. My brother left there with a smile and so I credit Oakwood for helping him through.

There have been major staff turnaround within the last several months and I must say that it was a good thing. The facility is much cleaner, there are no smells, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and there's an overall positive aura about the place. Administration is awesome. My loved one tells me how the new Administrator there is different than other administrators. She actually goes around having full conversations with residents & always helping staff in areas needed. How many people have seen their administrators help wax a floor and actually picking up a mop? I believe this place is headed in a positive direction.
