Joe’s Pit Stop

I am rewriting this review in light of a change in the outcome of my situation at Joe's Pit Stop. As I stated before, my wife and I were very dissatisfied with our original service at Joe's Pit Stop. I had initially tried reaching out to Joe (the owner) in an attempt to discuss the matters of concern pertaining to our service, however I seemed to have mistaken Joe missing my message for him evading it, which was extremely upsetting. In the end, an attempt to rectify the ordeal was made by Joe and both parties have now achieved a sense of reciprocity. A huge thank you to Joe and his two amazing mechanics for making things right! I recommend this place for those that know and understand their automotive needs. If you don't, I recommend having a conversation with Joe BEFORE repairs are made. That was one step that I mistook. Outstanding group of men here!

First went with a 2001 Chevy with transmission problems. Joe's Pitt Stop broke down the transmission, and decided the best route was to replace the transmission. The truck I had was pretty old, I really did not want to sink much money into it. I elected to not repair this but to get another used truck. Found truck online, purchased truck after test drive, should have ran it by Joe's for a diagnostic check . My situation was urgent (in my mind ). after purchasing the vehicle went to Joes Pitt Stop to get the diagnostics ran. came back with both catalytic converters bad along with oxygen sensor. I suspected this after test driving the Truck. I estimated around $1500 for labor and parts, which was just about right. After truck was repaired noticed a sluggish response when accelerating from a stop position. Was getting ready to take it back to Joe's Pitt Stop when I heard something POP then, no forward motion no reverse. Hobbyist can see where this is going, yes, transmission was gone. Joe's Pitt Stop repaired the transmission, gave me a warranty for their work. This is the key the warranty protects you from having to pay for the same repairs twice. I was in such a hurry to get started back working I just purchased the first thing I thought would suit my needs. If i learned anything it is take your time when purchasing important items, it could cost you later. Always get a diagnoses of your automobile before purchase. Yeah, Joe's Pitt Stop performs this service also for a reasonable price. Joe's got me back into the AC and Appliance service business within a two week period. I am still working to re-coop my purchase of the Truck that turned out to be not such a good deal, Joe's Pitt Stop bailed me out. I will update with quality of service after I put some miles on my vehicle. Over all I give them a 4.5 out of 5 star rating. They also communicated with me so I would not be making unnecessary trips over to the shop, and they always returned my calls.

The job was complete within the time I was quoted and the work was excellent at a reasonable price. I will recommend Joe's Pit Stop.

I started using Joe's Pit Stop about two years ago. They have worked on three of my cars now. I trust Joe and his crew 100%. He will shoot straight with you and make feel like he cares. I have had no issues with their work, their attitudes or their pricing. I will continue to take my vehicle here and I recommend them highly.
