  My wife and I definitely made the right choice when we decided to sign our two boys up at Alvarez Jiu Jitsu. From the very first day, we continue to be greeted with a smile every time we show up with our children. The facility is clean and very well maintained, which is very important when it comes to keeping the students, visitors, and staff healthy and safe. We wanted our children to learn self defense, self discipline, respect, and other good habits and traits. I can definitely say I am starting to see a small change already in the one month of them attending classes. There is a reason they have nearly a five star rating. I can say that signing my boys up for a membership here has been and will continue to be worth more than the cost itself. I highly recommend it for kids, or even yourself, no matter what age you are, you definitely will not regret it.

  I moved from the Midwest and wanted to try Jiu Jitsu as a better way to get in shape besides my norms (basketball, gyms, etc.). After learning about the 30-day Free Pass, I decided to give Alvarez Brazilian Jiu Jitsu a chance. The atmosphere is very welcoming; from Coach Alvarez introducing himself to me and working one-on-on during class with me and other new students, to everyone else I encountered being polite and friendly as well . Within the first few classes, I decided to sign up for the 6-month membership and have not regretted the decision (5 months in currently).
  
  Classes are very organized, structured, and competitive; teaching skills, proper techniques, and how to safely drill with others.
  
  The facility is very clean and well - maintained; from walking into the front door through the lobby areas, locker rooms, to the mats (disinfecting the mats after every practice).
  
  Coach Alvarez is very professional and holds all students accountable for their goals set, communicates effectively, and encourages students to push their boundaries, and teaches lessons that are applicable to life.

  Brought my daughter down to train from our School in Detroit (Metro Jujitsu) who’s an affiliate with Alvarez. It was a very welcoming experience from the time that we informed them that we were coming and through out our visit they were very accommodating. These guys are all about jujitsu and has the hardware 🥇to show for it. I was really impressed with the facilities and and the straight forward teachings that my daughter obtained from the kids coach. Shout out to Coach KJ for showing the ability to identify my daughters weaknesses and strengths almost instantaneously and helping her strengthen her jujitsu from the time that we spent there ! With that said she has ask when is the next time we will go down to train .

  We started taking my son 3 months ago for some off season workouts. Everyone has welcomed him into the gym. All of the coaches are very encouraging and will provide assistance any time time you ask or if if they see that you are struggling with something. My son actually competed in 2 tournaments here locally. 2 different people from the gym volunteered their time on the weekend to come to the event and coach him during the events. It really shows how much they treat everyone like family. I would recommend this gym to anyone who has ever thought about trying Jiu Jitsu. I have actually just completed my 30 trial as well. It was a great experience.

  I really recommend this place. Dealing from the staff is Professional. They know how to satisfy anyone who is coming. BJJ coach is legit and his way of teaching is amazing. Great person to interact with. Training partners welcome you like a family. Environment of the class is Professional and place to train is clean. I highly suggest this place whether you are beginner or Pro, if you want to learn something. Positive feedback you will get for sure.
