I am a small business advisor. When I was studying models of excellent customer service to advise small businesses, I read about Nordstrom. The luxury department store Nordstrom once took back a set of snow tires to keep a customer happy … and they don’t even sell snow tires. (Google “Nordstrom tire return”) My “Nordstrom Moment” happened yesterday with Lone Star Cleaners (3601 SW Green Oaks Blvd #101, Arlington, TX 76017).
I recently moved to the neighborhood. I started using Lone Star Cleaners. The collar and cuffs on my dress shirts require special attention. The times I used Lone Star, my dress shirts always came back perfect. So, when I went to my closet to wear a particular dress shirt, I immediately noticed that the collar and cuffs on this shirt had not been given the attention that I had come to expect from Lone Star. I returned two shirts to Lone Star Cleaners. The owner immediately said: “We will redo them – no charge.” I thanked him, and as I was walking out, the owner said without making it a big deal but just to let me know: “These are not my tags – I did not do these shirts.” After I overcame my extreme embarrassment, I apologized and offered to pay for the redo. (Recall that these are times when cleaners are struggling – every dollar matters.) The owner said again: “We will redo them – no charge.”
I pray that this review brings more value than the lost cash from the two shirts that the owner did not accept for the redo.

They have EXCELLENT customer service, and my clothes always come out pristine. They go above and beyond to meet customers needs. I missed the 5pm close time on Saturday and they met me Sunday morning on their closed day so I could get my clothes. The service is really outstanding, you can’t beat it!
They were the only cleaners in the area that could provide me last minute service when I was in a crunch.
Excellent customer service, fast cleaning and they do an excellent job. I hope i never have to use another dry cleaner ever again.
