Training at Bushido MMA in Arlington has been an incredible experience from the start. The instructors are highly skilled, passionate, and dedicated to their students. The facility is clean, well-equipped, and spacious. The inclusive and friendly atmosphere creates a sense of camaraderie among students. With classes for all ages and skill levels, Bushido MMA offers a tailored approach to learning. It also focuses on discipline and character development. Overall, I highly recommend Bushido MMA for anyone seeking an outstanding martial arts experience.
Sensei Rose is an amazing coach and friend to me. I am in the adult class, which is a little different from the kids’ class. We learn not only Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, and Muay Thai, but practical uses for self-defense in a potentially life-threatening scenario. I would highly recommend this school to anybody that wants to learn how to properly defend themselves against real-world threats that they may encounter. Cannot speak highly enough about Bushido MMA.
Amazing kid’s program! Not only teaching martial arts and self defense, but also amazing values in life. The kids are taught discipline, loyalty, perseverance, respect. It’s amazing to see the tournament team bring home the medals and trophies but the lessons learned on the day to day at the Bushido are the best part of all!
We looked to get our kid into Judo after being told how much it can help kids with ADHD. After being referred here by a friend, we showed up for 2 free classes to see if it would be a good fit for our son. From day 1, we noted the focus and discipline all the kids displayed on the mat. Even when Sensei Justin Rose or the coaches were busy with other parents/kids, the rest of the class stayed on task and knew exactly what to do and what was expected of them. We have now been coming here for about 18 months and the changes we have seen in our kid have been significant and positive. His focus and self control are greatly improved, and his self confidence is sky high. But the best thing is that he gets to learn self defense for real world scenarios. Justin does a great job pushing the kids to work their hardest and prove to themselves what warriors they can be, while also balancing with fun, tough love and encouragement to build the kids up. I would completely recommend for any parent looking to get their kid into Judo or just looking for self defense.
I’ve been training with Justin for Rose for more than a decade and it is undoubtedly the most helpful and useful set of skills you’ll develop. Not just due to the increase in self confidence but in the increase in discipline, honor, strength, physical endurance, and mental endurance. You won’t regret signing up and learning what you’re capable of.
