We had a sales contest with the winners getting a trip to a Dallas Cowboy football game. The staff at the hotel worked with us on what we needed. They were great. They took care of everything. “Last week I traveled from Tucson, Arizona to Arlington, Texas to take a 4-day glass class taught by Larry Pile at Contempo Art Glass. Larry taught us the magic behind his beautiful weaves and many other fusing tips and tricks. It was an outstanding learning opportunity and everyone in the class left with a gorgeous piece of art! The class experience was further enhanced by Kathy Barnett’s exquisite glass shop, Contempo Art Glass. She has an enormous and beautiful supply of art glass, and she encouraged us to choose our favorite colors of sheet glass and accessories for our projects. The classroom is large with comfortable worktables, lots of coldworking equipment and a variety of kilns needed to accommodate many students and provide excellent education for all levels of glass artists. We had a very hands-on class and Kathy was an extremely gracious host. She allowed us to use her shop as if it were our own studio. She also helped organize daily lunches and offered complementary beverages during class. Contempo Art Glass has all the supplies needed for any glass artist, and a lovely gallery to purchase glass art made by various artists. I highly recommend Contempo Art Glass!!!”
