I pleaded with them, offered to pay the previous tenant's bill, and even went to the Water Utilities Department myself. Was told I couldn't pay the bill till they received the previous tenant's eviction notice and we ended up having to move into our new place without water. But then we got a call a few days later with a sweet woman named Bridget that said she would let us pay the previous bill and got our water turned on THAT DAY, even after 5pm. She was extremely sweet and understanding, and definitely saved our hides.”
