Eastgate Baptist Church

I was given a hotel voucher through American Airlines. The shuttle service took over an hour to pick me up, but I really appreciated that the lobby staff acknowledged that without my mentioning. The shuttle driver was very personable, helped me with my bags, and made the ride comfortable. The driver even convinced me to try the food from the hotel restaurant— will comment in a bit!
Upon arrival to the hotel, the lobby staff were kind and professional. Again, they acknowledged my wait from the shuttle and that was thoughtful. Check in was easy. They even gave me some snacks that another person had bought for me anonymously and it was very kind of them to pass that along. I mentioned that I needed an early taxi to reach the airport for a 6am flight and because the shuttle service starts at 5am, they suggested getting a taxi service. The one they recommended was not listed online anywhere but the driver is named Ahmed. I’m glad they recommended him because he was also excellent. I left a message to arrange a ride and he called me back within 10 minutes. He took my ridiculous request to leave for the airport at 3am. He even arrived early and communicated with me via text. The trip back to the airport was probably 10-15 minutes since there was no traffic. I know he is not directly associated with the hotel but it was an excellent recommendation from the hotel staff that I am grateful for!
The restaurant experience was decent. I ordered a coke and some buffalo wings. The wings were excellent. Better than most wing-based restaurants! I also enjoyed the celery and carrot sticks. The waitress wasn’t extremely attentive but I also didn’t really need anything anyway. I think she knew I was just minding my business and enjoying my wings. My meal was mostly covered by a voucher from American Airlines.
I love Holiday Inn rooms. The room was clean and had plenty of space. I wish I was staying longer. The sheets were very comfortable but I personally felt that most of the pillows were too soft and squishy so I just stacked them. I requested a wake up call for 2:30am (a little ridiculous even in my opinion!) but I did not receive one. I was awake anyway so it did not affect me but it could have. Overall I was very pleased with this hotel and I wish I was staying longer!

The staff here made my stay a 5 star experience. I was booked for a night here after my delayed flight had me missing my connection at DFW. They have on demand shuttle service to and from the airport. I even had some nice fish tacos at their restaurant, mostly also comped by the airline. Their outdoor pool was even open, and I could not resist it’s tranquil setting! Again all staff at every encounter made me feel welcomed and relaxed every step of the way on what had been an otherwise stressful traveling experience.

I lost my flight! I was located by The airline at this hotel. Front deck guys all of them were very kind and service people too. Rooms has The necessary stuffs but only the bath shower can be better. Is around 10 minutos from DFW. Have shuttle service. Ask for

Stayed here night before early flight home. Clean, staff very nice and helpful. Quieter than expected. Shuttle to airport worked out great. So glad we didn't have to drive to DFW, would have been a nervous wreak.

My family and I have found an amazing Chirch with absolutely amazing people that we consider family. Truly blessed to be a part of this wonderful congregation. Please come out and join is in recieving the word of God with an always uplifting message!

this church is awesome i love pastor dan barnes and all of the other people there. they are so nice and welcoming and loving u cant stop going there they teach the bible very well right from the kings james bible and even if it is a kinda small church they are doing really well and it is a really good church and i want to always go there i love the preaching and the music and there fun activities that they do a lot i also love the kids areas and the basement and the teachers who do that for the kids this church is so welcoming and nice it is hard not to love it.

We visited this church one time and had a pretty good time. It's a small church with probably around 100 in attendance. The locals were friendly and chatted with us.

One really cool thing was the pastor waved bye to every car in the parking lot which I've never seen before.
We definitely will go back to give it a shot, but overall it's probably too small for what we are looking for in a church.

This is the most loving church that I have her attended. The church is like a family of people in which everyone truly loves and cares for each other and the world. The sermons are awesome. They are thought provoking, educational and helpful to get through the week. The pastors wife does the best job of any pastor's wife that I have ever encountered. She is very loving and knowledgeable about the Bible. The pastor and his wife have great counseling skills. They can truly help anyone through the situation that they are in. I highly recommend visiting the church.
