Arlanderz Chicken Joint

Delicious home cooked food. Staff were very nice. Chicken was fried to perfection and the sides were also good. I had the fried okra and sweet potatoes. You can tell they make the food with love. They cook the chicken to order so expect a small wait time. Nice portion size for the price. The banana pudding was mouthwatering and fresh with extra cookies. Will return soon!

The first time I had chicken from this spot was when my husband bought some for me after I had a long day at work. I came home to the most delicious and perfectly fried wings, cheesy mac & cheese, and flavorful greens that I've had in a long time. Not to mention their signature root beer BBQ sauce for dipping your wings in. They even have the nerve to have homemade tasting sweet potatoes!!! So good! We had those wings and sides again for lunch a few weeks ago and it was just as great the second time. I highly reccomend eating here. Excellent food!

I love this restaurant! I stand by it. The chicken is ALWAYS good and fresh! The service is always good and they are always friendly. I’ve never had a bad experience and I’m here weekly! Stop in for lunch you guys. The lemonade is refreshing, the banana pudding is better than your grandmas and the sauce is everything!

Best fried chicken I have eaten in DFW! Crispy well seasoned and juicy! Mac and cheese was flavorful and creamy and absolutely awesome. The sweet potatoes were so good. Not overly sweet but full of flavor and I’m not a sweet potato lover but I loved them. Give them a go you won’t regret it! We will be back. The folks running the place are so friendly. Be aware they make it to order so it’s not sitting drying out under heat lamps. Takes about 20 minutes to make but more than worth the wait. The care they take shows in the quality of food!

Best chicken I ever had! Food is super FRESH! Thought it was pricey but food is expensive everywhere and your paying for better quality and nice portion size here! They need locations all around Texas! Customer service was awesome.
