Heartis MidCities

As a family we made the difficult decision to move our mom to Memory Care at Heartis in April this year. As tough as the move was on all of my family the staff at Heartis have been exceptional in helping us all to adjust and feel comfortable. It started with our experience with Rebecca when we were first looking and going through the intake process. She had such patience with all our questions and helped us through each step of the admission process. She continues to check in with us when we are there visiting and has a genuine interest in our mom's care and our comfort with her being there. All of the staff have been very accommodating, helpful and friendly. Leslie and Gloria are amazing at organizing activities for the residents and spend the extra time and attention needed with each resident. We can always call Gloria for an update on how mom is doing if we can't be there that day and she gladly willingly fills you in on her day. Gloria even arranged for a petting zoo to visit Heartis which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Katelyn, Kayla and Blaine greet us at the concierge desk with a smile each time and go out of their way to answer questions. I'm afraid I may miss someone but I have to mention the caretakers- Nyah, Lakesha, Tameka, April, Q, Jay, Ashley, Abraham and Fredrick who attend to my mom's needs each day. They are amazing!!!! Tori who leads this group as the residential manager is the best and will help you with anything. She knows each resident and works had to ensure her staff and the residents are cared for in the best possible way. I highly recommend Heartis Mid Cities if you are considering a facility for a family member. You will not be disappointed.

My mother moved into Heartis Mid-Cities recently, and we have been very pleased with our experience. The staff members have been very accommodating, helpful and friendly. Some of the specific staff members that we have interacted with include: Rebecca, the marketing director, who made the initial intake process very smooth and efficient. Leslie and Gloria do an excellent job organizing activities for the residents and even take the time to paint my mom’s fingernails!I know my mom appreciates that extra time and attention. Katelynn, Kayla and Blaine greet us at the concierge desk and go out of their way to answer questions and accommodate us. Finally, I really appreciate Nyah, Lakesha, Tameka, April, Q, Jay and Ashley who attend to my mom’s needs each day. They are kind and compassionate and make this transition much easier. You will not be disappointed if you choose the memory care facility at Heartis Mid-Cities.

I can not say enough about this facility and the staff. I am more than impressed with Heartis. It's very hard when you have to make the move of putting your loved one into assisted living. But, when you have someone like Rebecca Reynolds who is in marketing, it makes it so much easier. She was wonderful to work with. She went above and beyond for us. She treated my mother as if she were her own. I cant thank her enough.

My father has been a resident with Heartis Mid-Cities for the past year. We just moved him into a new assisted living facility here in Austin. The staff at Heartis has been a joy to work with. Jeremy the Executive Director has been very helpful with this transition. The caregivers have been great, but I would like to give a special thanks to Jonathan Moore, BSN, RN the director of Health Services. Jonathan has treated my dad with love and kindness well beyond just doing his job. I can't thank Jonathan enough for all his loving care extended to my father. Thank you all from Heartis for a great experience.

I could not be more pleased. We moved my dad in Heartis at the end of November. It was a very difficult decision to move him out of his home of 50 years, but everyone has been so kind and welcoming to my dad as well as my family. He tells us everyday how nice everyone is and is thankful for his new friends. Thank you Patti and all the staff for making it feel like home!!!
