Redeemer Lutheran School

My son is a current attendee of this school, 2017. Please note that two other reviewers who scored this school poorly are former administrators of the school and there were some problems with them. The school was shut down due to low funds, low enrollment, a severe storm damaging a roof that was too expensive to fix, and poor administration. Closed in Summer 2016. School was re-opened in Fall 2016 under new administration and with brand new classrooms. Small class size = individual attention. They only have prek for 3&4 year olds right now, but are hoping to add Kindergarten for Fall of 2017. My son has learned his alphabet including the sounds and writing the letters, can count to 100, can identify numerous sight words, and is excelling in math. They have music, art, library room, chapel, and a fantastic playground. There is also a full gymnasium they use in extreme weather conditions. Rooms are super nice, large, cheerful, and air conditioned/heated. I have had nothing but positive experiences at this school. My son also attended in 2016 for a few months before it was closed. I found the facilities to be adequate and not "an old house" like another reviewer stated. They are having a summer camp available for this summer 2017 which my son will be attending if enrollment permits. I highly recommend this school and church (my family attends). Hope people will disregard false reviews and rely on reviews such as mine which is a truthful, honest review.

I LOVE Redeemer. It is a fantastic school. I am a former student along with many of my cousins and nephews. We all received outstanding education from great, caring teachers. The class sizes were small and perfect for detailed one-on-one learnning. When I finally went to public school I was two grades ahead of where I was suppose to be. I still support Redeemer as a volunteer. When my children are old enough they will also attend Redeemer. I cannot say enough about the great staff, excellent teachers and supportive parents. This school has a great track record and I will continue my support for years to come.
