(September 3, 2020, 3:58 pm)I thought finding a functional medicine doctor would be fairly easy in the DFW area but when I did a search, Dr. Trubey was the only one that really came up that wasn't a chiropractor. While I love my chiropractors, I felt I needed something different for the issues I was having (major gut issues, not able to keep food down, and extreme lethargy). Dr. Trubey was AMAZING! The tests he ran were very in depth (content-wise) while not invasive (personal space respected). I was happy to find him and get some answers for what I was going through at the time. My journey back to health is on-going but I know I can reach out to Dr. Trubey at any time with questions and he is quick to respond. He truly has a heart for his patients.
(June 7, 2020, 6:54 pm)I could not be more pleased with how closely Dr. T listened, how comfortable I was speaking with him, all the tests/diagnostic procedures available to him for his patients to keep them, healthy without having to rely on the pharmaceutical industry for care, yet he was never pushy.
I am so grateful I found him!!!
(April 17, 2020, 12:04 pm)Dr. Trubey is a wealth of information and a wonderful, detailed care provider. We first saw him in 2016 to address my autoimmune condition, and we are now working with him again for my husband. We trust him and his advice has lead us on a path of empowerment and actual wellness (not just a prescription and shrugged shoulders). He takes the time to educate his patients, ask questions about the whole person, and suggests a roadmap to tackle really complex conditions at the root. Our initial visits were 4 hours long, so this is not your typical allopathic medicine practice (which is exactly why we went...and continue to return as needed). In fact, visits are in his home (dedicated office), and the warm environment is perfect for pursuing healing. The tests/diagnostic tools he uses to rule out and identify issues are industry leaders, and his advice dovetails perfectly with the premiere functional/integrative/naturopathic docs out there. Such a gem and so blessed to have him so close!
(September 7, 2019, 12:28 am)I saw Dr. Trubey for an initial visit in August. I was slightly apprehensive because it was in his home. However, his wife answered the door and led me to his office. It was completely comfortable and a relaxed environment. To my surprise it was FAR from the "typical" doctor visit. Dr. T took his time listening to my concerns. I felt respected and valued. Unlike other doctors who have a "know it all" attitude he was humble and willing to listen to my opinions and thoughts regarding my health. The tests he conducted that day gave me more insight into what is going on with my health than any other doctor visit in the past ever has. I was surprised to leave with so much information. He also emailed me a copy of all my results! I plan on making him my "go to" doctor from now on. I also have recommended him to my sister, daughter and neighbor!
